I walk though one of Atlanta's most historic parks Piedmont Park to discover events like organized sports, fresh markets vendors, and patrons hanging out enjoying the scenery. On my journey I decide to question them on what makes the city we live in so great. I also venture though downtown Atlanta traffic to the historical Auburn market to get a healthy snack from the cities only juice bar!
We wanted to explore the availability of green space around the city. We centered on a nature preserve near Emory University.
Atlanta's emerging interests in alternative forms of transportation and desire to make these as successful as possible.
Barbie Beach is a local, famous art installation. It started in 1996, Now Barbie Beach has become known to many a traveller. A landmark for many who take the journey along Highway 16.
Days before shooting for One Day on Earth, a controversial gun law was passed in the State of Georgia. The news media was abuzz about it, and people I spoke with wanted to talk about it. It was dubbed the "Guns Everywhere" law. Through using news reports, newspaper clippings, and interviews, I was able to capture the vibe of the moment as Georgians grappled with the implications of this new piece of legislation.
