On April 26th, 2014 hundreds of filmmakers, non-profit organizations, and inspired citizens documented stories and investigated 10 questions about the future of San Diego as part of a city-wide, participatory media-creation event. This film focuses on the future of San Diego... our youth. Through community activism and organizational partnerships in the San Diego community, this film showcased real life stories of lives who have experienced adversity and have now become community leaders. The organizations that they represent each share a similar mission and vision, and that is to raise up the next generation of leaders here in San Diego.

Sobre el sentido de alineacion que se puede sentir en una ciudad hermosa como esta.
A single question inspires and enlightens a San Diego community to share their hopes and dreams. The Before I Die wall located on the corner of Richmond and University in Hillcrest, San Diego was first installed in June of 2012 and has become a staple of this vibrant urban community. While most public art in the city is designed for the passive observer, this unique installation asks passerby's to stop, grab a piece of chalk and engage their thoughts, wit, or passions with the community. Once the individual walks away no one will know who wrote what, but all comments are read by others throughout the day. A group of teenager filmmakers visited the wall to interview two of the main contributors, Andy Barajas, who installed the wall, and Dougie, the gnome who cleans it everyday. What do they love about San Diego?
